1. Introduction

SOLIDTRACK TRANSPORT LIMITED ("we," "us," or "our") provides transport and logistics services throughout the UK. These Terms outline the agreement between us and you ("the Customer") regarding our services.

2. Our Services

We provide various transport and logistics services, including:

• Same-day courier services
• Local and regional deliveries
• Man & van services
• Nationwide transport
• Business logistics and contract services
• Pallet and heavy goods transport
• Route coordination services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

3. Booking and Quotations

When booking our services:

• Provide accurate information about pickup/delivery locations, items, and requirements
• Quotations are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated
• Final pricing may be adjusted if actual requirements differ from quoted
• Bookings are confirmed upon payment or deposit (where applicable)

We reserve the right to decline any booking request at our sole discretion.

4. Payment Terms

Payment Methods: We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments as specified at the time of booking.

Payment Schedule:

• One-off services: Full payment required upon delivery or as agreed at booking
• Business accounts: Payment terms specified in your contract (typically 30 days)
• Deposits: May be required for large or special orders

Late Payment: Late payments may incur interest and collection fees as permitted by law.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation Policy:

• Same-day services: Cancel free of charge with 2+ hours' notice. Late cancellations incur full charge.
• Scheduled deliveries: Cancel free of charge with 24+ hours' notice. Less notice may incur 50% charge.
• Business contracts: Refer to your specific contract terms

Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 14 days of cancellation where applicable.

6. Customer Responsibilities

As the Customer, you agree to:

• Ensure items are ready for pickup at the agreed time
• Provide accurate dimensions and weight of items
• Ensure safe access for pickup and delivery locations
• Remove items from our vehicle promptly upon delivery
• Inform us of any special handling requirements
• Not transport illegal or prohibited items
• Be present (or have an authorised representative) at pickup/delivery

7. Items We Cannot Transport

We reserve the right to refuse transport of:

• Illegal items or substances
• Hazardous materials (unless properly certified and disclosed)
• Live animals
• Perishable foods (unless arranged and approved)
• Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
• Cash, jewellery, or high-value artwork without special arrangement
• Items exceeding size or weight limits of our vehicles
• Any items we deem unsafe or inappropriate to transport

8. Delivery Times and Delays

Estimated Times: Delivery times provided are estimates only. We make reasonable efforts to meet agreed timescales but cannot guarantee exact delivery times.

Delays: We are not liable for delays caused by:

• Traffic congestion, road closures, or adverse weather
• Customer not being available at agreed times
• Vehicle breakdown (we will arrange alternative transport where possible)
• Acts of God or circumstances beyond our control

9. Liability and Insurance

Our Liability:

• We exercise reasonable care in handling and transporting your items
• We accept liability for loss or damage caused by our negligence
• Our liability is limited as specified in our insurance policy
• We are not liable for consequential or indirect losses

Insurance:

• Basic liability coverage is included in our services
• Additional insurance is available for high-value items
• Declare item values at time of booking for full coverage
• Certain items may have coverage limitations

Exclusions: We are not liable for damage to items improperly packed or prepared by the Customer.

10. Waiting Time and Additional Charges

Standard Waiting Time:

• Courier services: 15-30 minutes included at each location
• Man & van: As per agreed booking period
• Pallet delivery: 30 minutes loading/unloading included

Additional Charges: Extra waiting time beyond these limits is charged at our standard hourly rate. Late arrival of the Customer counts as waiting time.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, government actions, or severe weather conditions.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, marketing materials, and communications (including logos, text, images, and designs) is owned by SOLIDTRACK TRANSPORT LIMITED and protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

13. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website and notified to Customers where applicable. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Invalid provisions shall be replaced with valid provisions that most closely reflect the original intent.
